Our Courses
This is a two-week intensive in Costa Rica designed for undergraduates, graduate students, and young professionals interested in careers related to the environment and sustainability.
You will experience examples of sustainability in tourism, agriculture, forestry, biodiversity conservation, community development, renewable energy, and technology, and talk with the people making them happen.
This course addresses careers through two focus areas:
Through workshops, presentations, and discussions and using exercises created by Sir Ken Robinson. You will assess yourself and identify potential career directions.
You will experience Costa Rica, make new friends, and join a community of support as well.

Steven Greenleaf "Leafy" Your Instructor
Steven Greenleaf is the Director of Greenleaf Education Costa Rica and will be the lead instructor for your course. Originally from California Steven has studied Conservation of Natural Resources with a focus in Applied Ecology. He has worked in four countries in environmental education, policy, land management, and Green building. Read more about him and our team on our “About Us” page.
You will also be meeting international and local experts with experience in sustainability and the environment.
